Tim Adams

A friend from ‘back in the day’, Tim has taken his passion for music to another level. Originally from Ottawa, Tim was one of the coolest guys I knew growing up.  While he wasn’t the tallest, he was regularly a leader, standing out as a great scrum-half and also as a successful entrepreneur in the city, having created the Mercury Lounge, an intimate club in Ottawa’s market area. Now an embedded, Portuguese-speaking ‘king’ of the music scene in Brazil (if not the broader continent), Tim is a resident of Sao Paulo (SP).  I had the pleasure of catching up with him a few years back in SP, and while we each were a bit older and had not seen each other for a good number of years, a special bond was shared.  A man with the ‘gift of the gab’ and with an encyclopedic mind when it comes to music, Tim has grown into an exceptional promoter who is connected to the music scene the world over.
