Simon Borchert

A friend with a deep passion for the plight of endangered animals, Simon is a man who has ‘grown into himself’. The mysteries of life led him to meet his wonderful partner Shannon, who has been an extraordinary catalyst for Simon to combine his skills in branding and strategy with his (and her) passion for wildlife and the living treasures of the African continent, in particular.   The two have worked together and travelled the world in support of Shannon’s charity and it has been a pleasure to see - from afar - some of their world and the very important work they are doing to defend various species, fight poaching, and restore unique habitats.  Simon has tapped into his spirituality in recent years and I’ve noted a new kind of man emerge, displaying more depth, sincerity, and thoughtfulness. A person with Africa in his heart, Simon is increasingly becoming a citizen of the world, which is great to see.
