Pieter Geldenhys

Pieter owns and runs two travel and touring companies focused on Southern Africa that he manages out of Cape Town, South Africa. He’s entrepreneurial, gregarious and a fantastic storyteller.  His jokes are cheesy and his musical tastes are suspect, but as they say, “no one is perfect”.  Proudly Afrikaans, he is a wonderful father to two boys who, no doubt, will play rugby one day. Possessing a big heart and many words of sage advice, Pieter and I have enjoyed regular ‘Man-dates’ - times when we connect one-on-one to discuss our lives and the various challenges we each face.  I have always appreciated these chats and the opportunity for authentic sharing (“Aho!”).  Always up for a good laugh and “talking sh*t”, Pieter has been a great friend in South Africa and I am proud to say was my Best Man at our wedding in 2012. A proud disciple of EO - to which he was initially indoctrinated by Nicola Nel - Pieter has gone on to ‘convert’ his talented wife Caroline, who’s also in the travel and tourism sector.
