Paul Durrant
Among my cousins, Paul is a special one. As someone who is inherently entrepreneurial (a trait he has inherited from his father), Paul is also tremendously caring and thoughtful. With understated intelligence, friendly inquisitiveness, and genuine concern, Paul consistently calls me on any given anniversary to wish me well. Together with his wife Christine, he has lovingly raised three gorgeous girls, acting as a father figure I try to emulate. Business-minded, and with a quiet faith, Paul has transitioned from the world of starting companies to improving livelihoods (as the former Managing Director of Habitat for Humanity South Africa), to developing better leaders through his consultancy Clearstream. A few years younger than me, Paul has the poise and confidence of a man many years my senior, and for that I pay him a great deal of respect.
