Nicola Nel

An exceptional business person and leader (she’s the Founder and MD of Atmosphere Communications, South Africa’s most awarded PR agency), Nicola has been my boss and friend, offering honest advice with great empathy. She’s also been an exceptional mother to her two wonderful daughters. Nicolas is also an instigator of good times and always up for fun. I’ve had the privilege of partying with her on many occasions, including ‘taking her to school’ several times at dress-up parties.  Nicola’s gusto for life, her endless energy, and her propensity for tomfoolery remain some of the best I’ve experienced.  Fearless, fun, and forever fervent in her loyalty to friends, Nicola has taught me much about balancing family life with festive antics.  With a wanderlust that is gradually getting satisfied, she has had the privilege of seeing various parts of the planet. I’m especially grateful to Nicola for giving me the space and support to grow professionally and personally while in South Africa.
