Gillian Drewett

I met Gillian as a fellow committee member on the organizing team of PechaKucha Cape Town (PKCT).  I suspect she, like me, was drawn to the energy of Dave Cotton, and revelled in the spirit of these events.  Organized, kind, and always soft-spoken, Gillian was an absolute stalwart on the PKCT team and a pleasure to work with, for which I will always be grateful.  I also fondly remember hanging out together - including with my son - at our house in Harfield Village in Claremont, and being impressed by her maternal energy and capacity for engaging a toddler. A research professional with a passion for travel, Gillian recently relocated with her firm Ipsos to London - a great city from which to explore the world (and work), or at least receive visitors from afar…
