Bob Ramsay

Bob has been the quintessential Canadian in welcoming us to the country with his tremendous hospitality and kindness.  Bob is a seasoned communications professional who hosts a series of events called Ramsay Talks that feature exceptional leaders who share their insights and experiences with small audiences.  At one of these event I first met Bob, as my wife and I had been alerted to a presentation by Zita Cobb, an entrepreneur and visionary of the incomparable Fogo Island Inn, which is part of a world-class social enterprise in Newfoundland that offers a resilient economic future for the area. One of the things I see in Bob is an inimitable joie de vivre that is only matched by his wife Jean, a doctor. They both share a passion for kayaking and global travel to exotic locales, and are a truly inspiring couple (who also happen to be septuagenarians)!
